German-based catering equipment manufacturer Blanco has upgraded its Frontcooking-Station mobile cooking unit.
The grease and odour filter system was optimised by replacing the previous 16 heavy cartridges of the activated carbon filter system with two slender carbon filter mats. This is designed to make filter change easier, and reduce the cost per operating hour and weight of the cooking station.
Further updates include extended panel options and what is said to be simplified handling for the user.
The exhaust air ducts of the suction bridge are also now colour-configurable, with powder-coated panels in a total of 13 colours. The cladding is claimed to be easily attached and removed for easy cleaning.
Therefore, it is possible to colour not only the front and side panels, but also the upper area of the Frontcooking-Station, to fit in with its surroundings.
Alongside this, Blanco has upgraded its front cooking website, which serves as an information resource for those interested in this technique.
The website addresses different target groups and provides sector-specific know-how for cooking in front of diners, in what is designed to be an appealing and fresh layout. Large images and target-oriented content are two more special features of the mobile device-optimised site.
Another Blanco product range now available in more customisable options is the Blancotherm plastic transport container.
Most models can now be ordered in four new colours, alongside the standard grey. The additional colours could allow for selection according to end user preferences or food or allergen labelling.
An operator-specific logo can also be laser engraved onto to the carrier plates of the handles on both sides. This allows for further personalisation and branding opportunities.
