Living Concrete has announced that its Chiswick Showroom is now fully up and running ahead of the company’s appearance at the Restaurant & Bar Design Show. Living Concrete, a designer and creator of beautiful concrete furniture and installation pieces, has confirmed that its Chiswick Showroom is now fully up and running.
The bold design business offers everything from concrete wall art and furniture to custom designed panels and stunning bespoke lighting. Launched in 2016, the business has already exceeded the expectations of everyone involved. Founder Daniel Wanat has received high levels of interest from interior designers and architects across the residential and commercial spheres, all of whom are eager to integrate this unique material into their designs.
With the final touches now in place at the Chiswick Showroom, Daniel and the team finally have a physical space from which to display their bespoke range of concrete products. Wall tiles, panels, indoor and outdoor furniture and accessories are all on show. Essentially, if you can imagine it, Living Concrete can create it.
“It’s brilliant to have a physical space we can welcome clients to and really show them what’s possible with concrete. We’ve had huge interest from architects and interior designers in everything from the finishing touches like our lighting designs and furniture, through to our integral bespoke concrete panels.
“Apartment Group used our pendant lamps at Newton Hall, a stunning wedding venue in Northumberland, to great effect. Closer to home, we are working with Charlotte Crosland Interiors to create a unique outdoor kitchen with concrete.
“More and more people are seeing the elegance in concrete as a material. We’ve contributed to industrial, urban projects but also elegant minimalist spaces. In every case with the right design and creativity, concrete blends in beautifully while adding a unique statement to the designed space.”
Each of the stunning concrete creations is crafted in the UK and Europe. Daniel also makes an extra effort to ensure that any bespoke requirements are handled in the UK factory, giving clients peace of mind. Their designs are close at hand where Daniel can keep an eye on progress and any delivery timelines can be kept to an absolute minimum.
Living Concrete have already made an appearance this last year at The Chelsea Flower Show through Outdoor Living where they caught the attention of dozens of designers. Now with the Restaurant & Bar Design Show, Daniel and his team will be highlighting the commercial interior applications of concrete as a design material.
Durability is a big focus for commercial clients who are always pleased to hear that concrete designs can withstand even the heaviest of footfalls. For those considering its use in a restaurant or busy bar environment, it’s worth looking closely at the different treatments available too. When professionally oiled or sealed, the surface of concrete is stain resistant, while installations with a concrete adhesive offer excellent sound impact absorption – not something traditionally associated with this minimalist material.
As more and more design professionals are discovering, with creativity and an in-depth knowledge of the material’s qualities and applications, concrete’s uses are almost limitless.
Daniel Wanat will be exhibiting at the Restaurant & Bar Design Show with the Living Concrete Team. Do come and say hello, they’ll be more than happy to tell you more about this unique and elegant material.
If you can’t wait until September and you’d like to find out more about the potential for concrete in your design project or you’d like to see some sample applications now – the Living Concrete Chiswick Showroom is open now to both the public and trade customers.
The showroom is opened 7 days a week by appointment only. Please call on 020 3092 3020 to arrange for suitable time to visit.
