The team behind Shoreditch hotspot McQueen are today launching an exciting new experiential club ‘Q’, following an intimate VIP preview evening last month.
A key theme for the venue is the element of play. The uniquely designed casino/ night club draws on the consumer desire for venues to be more than just a bar, offering an immersive experience with Insta-friendly elements throughout.
The venue displays a minimalistic aesthetic, with a monochromatic, grey colour scheme, complemented by mirrored walls and chrome finishes.
Featuring a newly-installed American-style Pool Lounge, accompanied by House Pool Professional and Former European Champion, Rico Diks, who will keep guests entertained all night by demonstrating (and teaching) trick shots.
Guests can also choose to take part in circuits of Poker, Black Jack and Roulette in the ‘Q’ Casino area, whilst sampling signature Q cocktails made of Stoli Cucumber Vodka with Lychee Juice & Kwai Feh Liquor.
The exclusive preview evening on Thursday 11th April saw Ashley Roberts, Tallia Storm, Scarlett Douglas, Jacey Elthalion, Michelle Gayle, Olivia Cox, Louisa Connolly-Burnham, Danny Beauchamp & many more in attendance.
Guests enjoyed DJ sets from Zoe Hardman, Bittersweet DJs Ashley James and Charlotte de Carle, and Jodie Harsh, all showcasing the venue’s state-of-the-art Pioneer sound system.
Designed and launched by Dezzi McCausland – formerly of The Kingly Club, Soho & McQueen Shoreditch – Q’s offerings draw from Dezzi’s 20 years of experience in catering for Londoners. ‘Q’ is located alongside the McQueen club in Shoreditch but will launch as an entirely separate venue.
Speaking of the venue, Dezzi comments: “Food and drink are fundamental to any successful venue like Q, but it’s also important to adapt with the times and offer what the current market seeks. With the rise of social media, everything must be Instagram and online friendly, including the experience itself… In recent years, interactive and immersive experiences are almost as important as the food, drink and service that used to take precedence, and this reflects our lifestyles and the offering of Q.
“The Zeitgeist of today is brain stimulation – we’re on-the-go at all times, multi-tasking constantly and when it comes to downtime, we still like to be kept busy. That’s why it’s no longer enough to pop out for dinner and drinks, there needs to be the best entertainment on offer and interactive activity.”
