Natasha Ludlow has been appointed General Manager of The Grosvenor Hotel and will see the hotel through its refurbishment to Amba Hotel Victoria Hotel later this year.
With a career at glh Hotels spanning more than 20 years, Natasha started as a reservation agent at The Tower Hotel, and then moved to the Grosvenor Hotel to become the revenue manager, before taking up her most recent role as the General Manager of Thistle Holborn – The Kingsley & Thistle Bloomsbury Park. Now, she has taken on her next challenge as she returns to the Grosvenor Hotel as general manager to oversee the transition to the Amba Hotel Victoria Hotel.
Over the past 20 years the landscape of hospitality in London has changed immensely and with the support and guidance of glh, Natasha has adapted seamlessly with it. Currently, her main focus is retaining the hotels talent and attracting new passionate and enthusiastic employees.
Natasha’s management has always been very hands on and she is passionate about team engagement and making sure all staff feel supported and motivated. She believes that creating an honest, target driven and family orientated environment delivers better results and makes for a happier team. She organises monthly celebration meetings to recognise birthdays, long service and outstanding work. Natasha listens to her team and makes a point of responding to feedback from her staff.
Natasha says, “I am incredibly excited about returning to The Grosvenor Hotel and I never expected to have come this far! I have grown up as part of glh Hotels and I am ready to tackle my biggest task yet; relaunching the hotel as the Amba Hotel Victoria. The relaunched venues – The Tea Lounge and the Grosvenor Arms – have both already been huge successes, so I am excited for our guests to experience the rest of the refurbishment. It is a true privilege to work in a hotel that you can truly be proud of.”
In her free time, Natasha enjoys spending time with her nephew and supporting Chelsea football club.
