TheUK’s biggest ice cream exhibition is in Harrogate in February as the £1bnindustry prepares for another bumper year.  It is the only trade show uniquelyfor the ice cream industry in this country and is organised by the industry’strade association, The Ice Cream Alliance.

Ice cream remains the UK’s favourite affordable treat with sales continuing to grow over the last 10 years.  Exhibitors from throughout the UK and Europe will be vying to increase their market share by offering a range of new products.  Around 2,000 potential buyers are expected to attend the Expo which is being held at the Yorkshire Event Centre, Harrogate between 12 and 14 of February 2019.

Zelica Carr, Ice Cream Alliance CEO said the Expo was expected to generate millions of pounds worth of business.  “The show is the biggest event in the UK ice cream industry calendar with exhibitors and buyers coming from across Europe.  The industry remains very strong thanks to the innovation and passion of UK ice cream makers in providing great tasting products at affordable prices.  The creativity that goes into some of the products is testament to what is a highly skilled craft and every year new and exciting flavours are introduced.”

The Expo also hosts the prestigious National Ice Cream Competition where ice cream makers from across the UK vie to be crowned the National Ice Cream Champion.
